Tahquitz River Estates was developed in the 1930’s with Spanish revival homes and named Palos Verdes Estates. In 1947 a mid-century builder from Los Angeles named Paul Trousdale built many mid-century homes in this neighborhood, commonly referred to as “Trousdale’s”. The architectural style of Tahquitz River Estates includes a variety of mid-century modern, Spanish and California ranch style homes.
