Hollywood stars, like William Holden, Gavin MacLeod, Tippi Hedren, Eva Gabor, Marjorie Main, Loretta Young, Benita Granville, Elizabeth Taylor, Julie London, Jack Webb, Eddie Fisher, Jerry Lewis and Carmen Miranda all made their home in the Deepwell Estates neighborhood. Deepwell’s namesake comes from a 630 ft. deep well that was drilled on the land in the 1920s that was a former apricot ranch.
