Originally Deep Well Ranch started out in 1928 as the Deep Well Guest Ranch with a cowboy/dude ranch design with accommodations for twenty-two guests before it was developed in the early 1970’s.

The Deep Well Ranch gated community is a PUD (planned unit development) that sits on a 22-acre parcel in South Palm Springs next door to Deepwell Estates. There are single family and attached homes with Spanish Colonial architecture exteriors in Deep Well Ranch. The community offers three pools, three spas, and one tennis court.

Hollywood history include actress Tatum O’Neil who use to live there with her mother, Joanna Moore in the 1970s. Tatum was often visited by actress Jodie Foster. Palm Springs mid-century architect Donald Wexler also lived there too!
